Stuart is Managing Director of IEL and is responsible for the organisation’s overall strategic, commercial and governance direction.
With a background spanning finance, structured investment and media strategy, he brings a disciplined, long-term perspective to film and television projects, bridging creative ambition with commercial and financial rigour. His experience covers investment structuring, portfolio oversight, financial modelling, risk management and investor engagement.
At IEL, Stuart leads commercial and strategic decision-making, oversees financial and operational discipline, and works closely with creative and industry partners to ensure clarity, alignment and continuity from development through delivery.
His approach is defined by selectivity, realism and transparency. He believes sustainable success in media projects comes from rigorous preparation, clear governance, realistic assumptions and strong collaboration between creative and commercial leadership.
Cora Stieven Babin- Director of Project Development
Cora Stieven Babin is Director of Project Development at IEL, responsible for the early-stage identification, shaping and preparation of film projects.
A European producer, writer and creative strategist, she specialises in development-stage work, where creative clarity, feasibility and market positioning are established. With industry connections across Europe and the Middle East, she brings strong judgement at the point where project risk and opportunity are first defined.
At IEL, Cora focuses on sourcing high-potential projects and working closely with producers and writers to refine story, structure and commercial coherence before projects enter formal creative and financial review. Her role is to ensure that projects are clearly articulated, realistically positioned and properly prepared for disciplined evaluation.
Her background includes multiple authored screenplays, projects in development, and directing the short film À l’ombre des marais. Her work emphasises strong character, emotional coherence and cinematic impact — attributes that support robust development and long-term project value.
