The IEL Model is designed for producers, filmmakers and industry partners who understand that successful projects must be both creatively distinctive and commercially grounded.


Our focus is on disciplined selection and thoughtful oversight throughout development and production — not on speculative, “lottery-ticket” approaches to financing.


IEL operates as a selection, portfolio and oversight partner. We work alongside regulated investment providers and established industry professionals who may choose to apply the IEL Model within their own structures.


We are interested in projects where story, character and craft are matched by a clear understanding of audience, market context and route to revenue.

Potential across domestic and international theatrical, broadcast, streaming and ancillary or library exploitation — avoiding reliance on a single outlet.

Projects capable of retaining value over time through re-licensing, catalogue strength or ongoing cultural relevance
 

Rigorous selection and due diligence

 

At the heart of the IEL Model is a structured and selective evaluation process that spans both creative and commercial dimensions.;


During development, we focus on:


  • Script and material assessment
    Structure, pacing, character, theme and clarity of proposition.
     
  • Budget and schedule realism
    Assessing whether the creative vision can be delivered within the proposed cost and timeline.
     
  • Packaging and market positioning
    Attachments, target buyers, territories and comparable projects.
     

During production and beyond, we look at:


  • Cost control and variance against approved budgets
     
  • Delivery risk, contractual frameworks and recoupment structures
     
  • Sales, distribution and exploitation strategy across relevant windows
     

The objective is to ensure that creative ambition and financial structure reinforce one another, rather than pulling in opposite directions
